How we handle your information.
You decide whether we measure your visit.
Notice at collection
Oscar Padilla General Welding operates this website. Here is what we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.
- Quote and contact information
- We collect the name, email address or phone number, work type, project description and any job city or timing you provide. We use it to respond, discuss the work and manage inquiries. Website inquiry records are scheduled for deletion after one year. Related emails or business records may be kept separately as needed for the work, accounting or legal obligations. Do not enter payment information, passwords, government ID numbers or other sensitive details.
- Optional visit measurement
- With your permission we record a random visit ID, the landing page, referring site hostname, source, medium and campaign tags, approximate city, region and country, and visit time. The location is estimated from your internet connection by our host, Vercel; it is not your GPS location or job address. We use these details to compare traffic sources and identify which campaigns generate inquiries. If you submit an inquiry while measurement is on, its attribution is stored with the inquiry for up to one year. Standalone visit records are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. The measurement system does not store your raw IP address, full referring URL or ad click IDs.
- Hosting and security
- Vercel processes requests and hosts our site and private records. Like other hosts, it may process network and request details such as IP addresses for delivery, security and operational logs. If you email us, your email provider handles that interaction under its own policies.
Cookies, browser storage and privacy signals
We do not set public advertising or analytics cookies. This site uses browser storage to remember your privacy choice for 180 days. Only if you opt in, it stores a temporary visit ID and attribution in the current tab, which expires after 30 minutes from the start of a visit or when the tab session ends. Select to change your choice at any time. Turning measurement off stops new collection and clears that tab’s visit data; it does not erase information already received. We treat Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals as a choice to keep optional measurement off.
Who receives information
Authorized shop staff and providers that host, secure, or support the website or business communications may process these details. We may disclose information when legally required or to protect rights and security. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not send inquiry data to ad networks or install advertising pixels.
Your choices and requests
You can request access, correction or deletion of information about you by emailing padoscar@gmail.com or calling 714-457-2322. We may verify your identity and may retain information needed for legal obligations, security or ongoing work. Declining measurement does not affect your ability to request service.
Changes to this notice
We’ll post updates here and ask again before enabling materially different optional tracking. Effective November 2, 2026.
